Upon arrival you will be met at Ben Gurion airport by our transfer representative and transported to your hotel in Tel Aviv. Overnight: Hotel in Tel Aviv.
Start the day with a visit to the Independence Hall where the establishment of the state of Israel was declared. Next, drive to Latrun to visit the new “Mini Israel” park including miniature models of the most important sites and buildings in the country. Continue to visit Ayalon Institute, once an ammunition factory for the Hagana, the underground movement before May 1948. Proceed to Yad Mordechai, named after Mordechai Anilevitz, leader ofthe Warsaw Ghetto. Visit the restored battle fields of the war of liberation and learn about their heroic story. Overnight in Tel-Aviv..
TEL AVIV / JAFFA
Visit the Diaspora museum; drive around the main streets of Tel Aviv, center of business and entertainment of Israel. Stop at Rabin’s Square, place of assassination of Prime Minister Itzhak Rabin. Continue to Old Jaffa, an 8000 year old port city. Visit the ancient ruins and walk along the restored artist’s quarter. Visit Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, built in 1909 and Nahalat Benyamin, the pedestrian street of the city with its musicians, hand-made jewelry and artifacts. Next, stop at Sheinkin, the lively and colorful street especially known with the unique shops, café life and youthful ambiance. Overnight in Tel-Aviv.

CAESAREA / HAIFA / AKKO
Drive north to Caesarea, once the Roman capital of the region. See the excavations of the crusaders’ city, the Roman Aqueduct and the Amphitheater which has been restored as a concert venue. Proceed to Haifa for a panoramic view from Mt. Carmel and visit “AF AL PI CHEN”, the naval museum of the illegal immigration to Israel at the time of the British mandate.Drive to Acre; walk along the old harbor and local market; Continue to the northernmost point of Israel at Rosh Hanikra, descend by cable into the limestone Grottoes. Overnight at a Kibbutz guesthouse.
SAFED / GOLAN HEIGHTS / BANIAS
Drive to Safed, center of the Kabala movement; Visit the JOSEPH CARO and the HA’ARI synagogues, the most important synagogues in the city; stroll around the Artist’s quarter. Enjoy a Jeep tour to the foot of the Golan. Continue to the Golan Heights; Stop at an observation point over the city of Kuneitra, and the Syrian territory. Stop at Tel Facher, a former Syrian army camp; Visit the Banias springs. Next, a visit to Tel-Hai; See the “Roaring Lion” monument and learn about the heroic battle of Josef Trumpeldor and his comrades in 1920. Overnight at a kibbutz guesthouse. Meet with a Kibbutz member and learn about their unique lifestyle.
BEIT SHE’AN / BEIT ALPHA / SACHNE / JERUSALEM
Drive to Tiberius to visit Rambam’s grave; proceed to Beit Shean, also called “Scythopolis”, the biggest archaeological park in Israel with beautiful excavations from Roman and Byzantine periods. Stop at Beit Alpha to see the beautiful mosaic floor of a synagogue from the Byzantine period. Onto Gan Hashlosha, (Sachne) where you will have an opportunity to enjoy in the water springs located at the foot of the Gilboa mountain, the famous mountain on which King Saul was killed in the battle against the philistines. Continue via the Jordan valley to Jerusalem. Stop at Mount Scopus for a blessing as you enter the city, Overnight in Jerusalem.
Tour the old city of Jerusalem. Start with a visit of the tomb of King David on Mt. Zion. Walk along the Cardo, the ancient Roman road; Visit the four Sepharadic synagogues restored after 1967 war in the Jewish quarter. Tour the Western Wall Tunnels; Visit the Davidson Center and walk through the Roman Cardo, to the local Arab bazaar. Walk through Jaffa gate to David’s Tower museum and see the ancient remains of the city beginning with the first Temple period. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Depart the hotel and arrive to the Western Wall in the old city of Jerusalem. *Celebrate the Bar/Bat-Mitzvah ceremonies at the Kotel. Continue to Mea Shearim and learn about the unique lifestyle of the ultra orthodox communities. Drive by the Knesset, Israel’s parliament and see the Menorah with the biblical emblems. Next visit the Israel Museum, the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed, and the new Holy Land Model – a miniature replica of Jerusalem as it was during the Second Temple period. Drive to Mount Hertzel, the military cemetery and Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust. Visit the ammunition hill, a former Jordanian army stronghold, conquered by the Israeli army in the Six Day War and converted into a national memorial site and museum. Overnight in Jerusalem.
DEAD SEA / QUMRAN / MASADA
Drive through the Judean desert to the Dead Sea. Stop at Qumran, the site where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. Continue to Masada, ascend by cable car and tour the ancient fortress; visit the remains of the walls, palaces, synagogue, the bathhouses etc. Descend by cable car, next stop for lunch, float on the Dead Sea and use of spa facilities in one of the leading hotels in the area. Return to Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Passports & Visas
Each passenger must have a valid passport, and it must be valid for six months after your arrival in Israel. For U.S. citizens, a visa is not required for Israel; no immunizations or vaccinations are required.
$250 per person with reservation. Final Payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
Any requested change in the basic program will result in a charge of $150 per person/per change plus any additional charges that may apply for revised air or land arrangements.
Airline schedules and flights are subject to change without notice. It is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to departure to insure adequate check-in time.
All cancellations must be sent to ITAS in writing signed by the person who made the reservation and are effective when received by ITAS. No refunds for cancellations received after tour departure, during the tour, or for any unused portion of the tour.
Penalties for Israel Land Portion:
- Up to 90 days prior to departure no penalty
- From 89-61 days prior to departure date $150.00 cancellation fee
- From 60-46 days prior to departure date $250.00 cancellation fee
- From 45-25 days prior to departure date $500
- From 24 days prior to departure or less, including no shows – no refund
Penalties for Air Portion:
Depending on the airline regulations. Penalties may be equal to the cost of the ticket.
Israel Travel Advisory Service, LLC (ITAS) and/or its agents and their representatives abroad, act only as agents for the tour participants in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, touring, restaurants, or any other services in connection with the itinerary. They will exercise reasonable care in making such arrangements. However, they do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity to person or property because of any act or default of any hotel, carrier, restaurant, company, or person rendering any of the services included in the tours. The tickets, coupons, tariffs, rules or contracts currently in use by any carrier, hotel, restaurant, or other contractor rendering services shall constitute the sole contract between such contractor and the tour participants.
ITAS and/or its agents and their representatives abroad, accept no responsibility for any damage, delay, or injury due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, government restraints, hostile acts, terrorism, weather, acts of God, or any other cause beyond their personal control. ITAS and/or its agents and their representatives abroad are not responsible for loss of or damage to your luggage, accidents en route, or ill health which may require travelers to miss parts of the tour or to return home without the group. No carrier shall be responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time tour participants are not on board its own conveyance.
The tour programs are planned in advance. If between planning time and the actual tour operation, circumstances beyond control require changes, ITAS and/or its agents and their representatives abroad reserve the right to vary itineraries and substitute components of tour programs. In the event it becomes necessary or advisable for any reason whatsoever to alter the arrangements of the itinerary, such alterations may be made without penalty to the operators. The right is reserved to accept or refuse any person as a member of the tour.
